Becky Stracener Epp is a jewelry designer and self-taught visual artist known for her vibrant, detailed fantasy paintings. She created her own line of whimsical steampunk jewelry in 2014 (The Steampunk Buddha) and started painting in 2020. Her art often features whimsical scenes, mushroom forests, unicorns, mermaids, and other mythical creatures inspired by nature, mythology, and the cosmos. Rich in intricate detail and vibrant color, her paintings draw inspiration from artists such as John William Waterhouse, Josephine Wall, and Salvador Dalí. She currently has 11 pieces on display at First National Bank of NWA in Bentonville (Aug-Oct 2026). A new piece, “Grandma’s Clothesline is currently at Fenix Arts in Fayetteville until October 2026. Her artwork can be found in several shops in downtown Eureka Springs, online at TheSteampunkBuddha.com, and at Brews in Eureka Springs, where she also serves as a guest curator.
