Copyright and Intellectual Property

A work of art that exists in only one copy, such as a painting or a statue, or in my case, a piece of wearable art, is protected under Section 101 of the Copyright Act. All items are the Intellectual Property of The Steampunk Buddha ®. All of my items are tiny works of art. All designs are owned by The Steampunk Buddha ®. Under Section 101 of the Copyright Act, original jewelry designs are considered “visual art”. The designs are automatically protected by copyright law when the original work is created.
