Events, Events, and More Events

I knew that I would have a lot more opportunities if we moved to Eureka Springs, but I had no idea how busy I would really be. From Festivals of Fairies to Biker Rallys, to Steampunk Festivals, this spring has been a whirlwind for us. This past weekend at the Art in the Park in Eureka, a lady, and her daughter bought two of my newest pieces and the mom told her daughter that one day she would inherit the necklace she just bought from me. It suddenly dawned on me that I am not just making a piece of jewelry, or doing something to let my creativity come out, but I am also creating heirlooms to be passed down in time. I have never really thought that much forward to the future but I want to let that lady know that she really made me feel proud when I heard her say that.

Another girl, gave me $10 extra for a necklace and earring set, telling me that I am way underpriced on my jewelry as well. I don’t take compliments that well but that also made me feel so good. I do not price my items high. I only want to be able to share my art with you and sell the pieces so I can make more. It is nice to have someone understand the emotion I put into each of my pieces.

I appreciate everyone who stops by and chats with us at each of our events, and I loved getting the chance to meet the people who take something I made home with them.

*These are some of our photos from the Biker Rally we vended on Friday at the Harley Shop. The wind got up too bad for us to stay throughout the weekend.
