Ozark Mountain Soul 2024 was so much fun. This event took place during the total solar eclipse of 2024. Seeing the eclipse out at The Farm was an amazing experience to behold. No, I didn’t take any pictures of the eclipse. I wanted to be in the moment. The band started playing “Dark Side of The Moon” just as the eclipse was at this peak and I dare to share that it made me shed a few tears. So magical. The bands were great as always. It was an honor to vend this event. We go every year and are usually just spectators so it’s an entirely different feeling to be a vendor. We met lots of great people who enjoyed our art and jewelry and we really appreciate everyone who stopped by our messy little tent. The wind was kickin’ yall. Everything was blowing off the table. I think we held onto our tent longer than we sat down most of the weekend, so the table wasn’t as nice of a presentation as I usually like to put out. I wasn’t able to take many pictures because I was not feeling well due to a health issue I was dealing with (non-contagious) but I’m feeling much better now. I don’t think I took any pictures of myself or Erik either. As always I love seeing Patti Steel and Opal Agafia play and this is definitely an event you need to come to next year.
