It’s a Bug’s Life

I was recently asked to participate in the newest art show at Brews, titled ” It’s a Bug’s Life. “. 20% of all sales from this show benefit the Holiday Island Pollianators Alliance.
My daughter and twin grandsons were visiting for a month, which gave me lots of time to catch up with them, so art was not my top priority for a while. When I was asked to be a part of this show, with only 10 days’ notice, I knew there was absolutely no way I could get anything worth finishing in time. So I decided to touch up and add to this piece from 2023 for the upcoming art exhibition.
“POLLINATION STATION #14”
“After the rise of data centers and synthetic food production, only 23 protected pollination stations remain worldwide. This is Pollination Station #14 — one of the last functioning bee sanctuaries preserving natural pollinators for future generations.”
Reception is at Brews. The show is called “It’s a Bug’s Life”. Opening night is May 27th, 2026, from 5-7 pm.

NEW ART SHOW at BREWS. Join us for the Opening of “It’s a Bug’s Life … Celebrating the Pollinators.” Wednesday, May 27 | 5-7 pm. Meet the artists and be the first to see the exciting art of the Eureka Springs & Holiday Island Community.
ALL of the work on display will be centered around pollinator/s … bees, birds, bats, beetles, butterflies .. possibly even moths, ants, ladybugs, wasps or another surprising creature that is responsible for 1 out of every 3 bites of food we eat. Pollinators support the production of many fruits, vegetables, and nuts. They are critical to our food supply, with animal-based pollination contributing to 30% of global food production.
“It’s a Bug’s Life Celebrating the Pollinators” will run until July 7th. 20% of ALL SALES will go to the June 27th Holiday Island Pollinator Festival.
