FNB of NWA Bentonville Art Show
It was a huge honor to be asked to have not one but 11 pieces of my art shown at First National Bank of NWA in Bentonville. When I first tried painting back in 2020, I never expected to get this far. After Zeek told me that I could have all 11 pieces in the exhibit, I took a hard look at my art. Some of these were painted a few years ago, and things have nagged at me to change, but I never got around to it. This gave me a reason. So, I repainted, changed, and corrected 9 of the paintings and got two more finished just in time. It seems a little like a dream to me to be able to show my art with such amazing artists. At the artists’ reception, I experienced my first time speaking in public, and I didn’t pass out! Yay! Special thanks to Zeek Taylor for keeping me calm, for being a good friend, and for everything he does to help artists get recognized.
(From Zeek Taylor’s post) “Happy Hour with the Artists”: The Bentonville branch of the First National Bank of NWA will host a reception, today, Thursday, August 6th, from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. to honor this quarter’s exhibiting artists: Jude Matinez, Bentonville, AR; Becky Epp, Eureka Springs, AR; Melissa Milton, Fayetteville, AR; and, Robert Fassler, Bella Vista, AR.
The public is invited to attend, meet the artists, view art, and enjoy food and drink. The exhibition will remain on view through mid -October. Artwork showcased in the street-side windows may be seen 24/7, and art exhibited inside the bank may be viewed during working hours. The bank is located at 402 SW A St, Bentonville, AR.
First National Bank of NWA also hosts a weekly brunch on Saturdays where you can see the art. Definitely go check it out and buy a piece of art!
